Stormcast Eternal

Like many wargamers, I raced to my local shop on Saturday morning to get my copy of the new White Dwarf, and its free Stormcast Eternal Liberator. Surprisingly, I managed to paint it all over the weekend.

I tried for a more blue-steel look, kinda like the Grey Knights. Shows up better under the flash...

Before we get all crazy, Im not (currently) planning on starting a Stormcast Eternal army, but I actually do like Age of Sigmar. Waiting to see what else comes along before I decide whether to continue with what I have, or start a new army.

I knew it! I knew they'd look better in silver than fully gold. From the back though they do kinda look like space marines in fantasy (it's the joint ribbing).

Hey dude I'm thinking of doing similar on my stormcast army any chance of knowing what colours you used?

It was Vallejo ...uhh.. natural steel, or something like that. I did a thin layer of that over a grey undercoat. I then put on a layer of P3 Blue Ink, let that dry overnight, then slop-brushed on more of the Vallejo steel color.
